Kirkham Hake

Kirkham Hake graduated from McGeorge School of Law in December 1996 with the Order of the Coif and with an American Jurisprudence Award in Insurance Law. After representing plaintiffs briefly, he went to the defense side gaining experience in subrogation. He has practiced in workers’ compensation matters exclusively since 2005, in both northern and southern California. He has represented insurance companies, self-insureds and employers.

Mr. Hake promotes open communication with both clients and opponents to seek early and reasonable settlements. He is experienced with handling claims from inception to settlement or trial. He has proceeded to trial on issues including entitlement to medical treatment, entitlement to TTD, permanent disability, petitions to re-open and liens.

Away from work, he and his wife Ingrid enjoy attending comedy clubs, spending time with their nieces and nephews and traveling.
